Shweiki Media is proud to announce that they had the pleasure of serving as the print sponsor for the Culinary Arts Career Conference.
This event is put on by the Austin Food & Wine Alliance, a nonprofit organization dedicated to sponsoring the culinary community throughout Central Texas through educational programs, grants, and other events at no cost to students, and took place on September 30, 2014 at the Palmer Events Center.
The Culinary Arts Career Conference was offered to more than 600 culinary students from 21 surrounding high schools and featured one of Austin’s most well-known chefs and the winner of Season 9 of Bravo TV’s Top Chef, Chef Paul Qui, as the keynote speaker. Along with Qui, there were many other local entrepreneurs, businesses, and panel discussions on site to spark the students’ interest in the culinary arts. In addition to the various educational opportunities presented, the Austin Food & Wine Alliance also gave students the opportunity to demonstrate their own skills in five competitions offered by the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts.
The Austin Food & Wine Alliance hosts some of Austin’s most renowned food events, such as Live Fire! and the Austin Food & Wine Festival, and the team members (and foodies!) at Shweiki are proud to sponsor this event by providing their reliable, high-quality, and hassle-free printing.
